Who should maintain old cemeteries?

County Commissioner Steve Spradley has requested the county assume maintenance of the recently-recognized Cabbage Grove Cemetery site.

Spradley first brought up the subject at the county’s Sept. 4 meeting and then again during a Sept. 13 workshop session He shared that the Cabbage Grove Cemetery was recently re-discovered as being located on property owned by Four Rivers Land & Timber.
