George Dennis Stamos

George Dennis Stamos, 78, beloved husband, father and grandfather, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at Lawnwood Hospital in Ft. Pierce after several years of illness.

George was predeceased by: his father, George D. Stamos; his mother, Evelyn Jacobus Stamos; his brother, Roger Stamos; his sister, Marilyn Stamos Close Politis; and his brother-in-law Robert A Jackson.

He is survived by: his loving wife of 56 years, Judy A. (Jackson) Stamos of Port St. Lucie; his son, George A. Stamos of Georgia and grandson, Fabian; His son, Jason Stamos and wife, Susan, and granddaughters, Sarah, Hannah and Rebekah of Jupiter; his brother-in-law, J. Shan Jackson and his wife, Gail, of Milton; and his sister-in-law, Jerri Jackson Grossman and her husband, Ken, of Gainesville, and their families.

Services will be held at Burns Funeral Home Chapel at 1400 N. Johnson Stripling Road in Perry, on Sunday, Oct. 7, at 3 p.m. with Pastor David Beigle officiating. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 2 p.m., prior to service.   Interment immediately following the service at Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry.
