Cheryl Lynn Hinthorne

Cheryl Lynn Hinthorne, 70, died Oct. 6, 2018, in Mayo. Cheryl was born Sept. 22, 1948, in Washington, Ill. to Evelyn Bridges Brunson.

Cheryl was a member of the Sandy Toes Red Hat Society of Perry. She worked for the Illinois State University in food service for 24 years. She was married to James Hinthorne Sept. 23, 1966-2009.

Cheryl was preceded in death by: her mother, Evelyn Bridges; her son, Scott Hinthorne; and her brother, Tim Kiesewetter.

She is survived by: her sons, Chad Hinthorne and Kurt Hinthorne; her granddaughter, Jessica Hinthorne; her grandsons, Parker and Austin Hinthorne; her significant other, Gary Weitzel; her sister, Susan Buehler; and her brother, Donald Brunson.

A service is planned for a later date. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
