    Dogs punished for retaliating when attacked?

    County commissioners will consider making changes to an ordinance defining what constitutes a “dangerous” or “aggressive” dog, after being approached by a local property owner who had two of his dogs impounded after they retaliated when attacked on his property.

    Stoney Anderson appeared before the county at a Sept. 13 workshop to request the county amend its animal control ordinance to protect dogs that are provoked by other animals or humans.
