Teen leads officers on three-county car chase

A St. Petersburg teen led officers and troopers on a high-speed chase through three counties Sunday afternoon, with speeds topping 100 miles per hour.

The chase began in Jefferson County around 2:33 p.m. when Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers observed a 2014 Honda Accord that matched the description of a stolen vehicle from Tallahassee traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 19, just south of North Barber Hill Road.
