Join the Garden Club for ‘Fun with Gourds’ on Wednesday, Oct. 17

Local artist Allie Jean LaValle will present “Fun with Gourds” at the October monthly meeting of the Perry Garden Club.

The meeting is set for Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Perry Garden Club building located in Forest Capital Park. Refreshments will be served at 9:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 10 a.m.
LaValle will show members how to use wood burning tools and colored pencils to decorate gourds. Members who have their own wood burning tools are encouraged to bring them (and an extension cord).

The cost is $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers.

Martha Frostick and Evelyn Daniels will serve as hostesses; Bettie Page will deliver the horticulture tip.
