Residents along the Taylor County coastline responded well to orders to evacuate leading up to Hurricane Michael making landfall along the Florida Panhandle.
According to Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Maj. Marty Tompkins, who was in charge of patrol duties during the hurricane, most residents heeded the warnings.
