Natalie Brooke Watson, 32, died Oct. 13, 2018, in Dallas, Ga. Natalie was born May 8, 1986, in Tallahassee to Lawrence Eugene St. John and Lynda Lynn.
Natalie was a devoted wife, a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, niece and cousin. She loved spending time with family and friends, taking pictures, cooking, loved animals and was very creative. Her intelligence was only surpassed by her determination to achieve life goals. It is these qualities that helped her fight and ultimately survive a battle with cancer. She was very witty, quiet and reserved. She avoided conflict in a way to benefit herself and loved ones. Everyone knew where they stood with Natalie. Natalie was a proud patriot and supporter of veterans, specifically her husband, her brothers and her grandfather. She was very honored to be Amber’s mother.
Natalie was preceded in death by: her father, Lawrence Eugene St. John; and her paternal grandmother, Barbara St. John.
She is survived by: her soulmate of 10 years and husband for three, Blair Watson; her daughter, Amber McCormick; two stepdaughters, Miranda and Aryn Watson of Bakersfield, Calif.; two brothers, Jordan Tedder and Lawrence “Bubba” St. John; her sister, Elisa St. John; her best friend and cousin, Sherra Reatherford along with Shanna Lago; her beloved mother, Lynda Lynn; grandparents, Nadine and Bruce Lynn; her loving aunt, WaWa; her uncle Lantz, and numerous relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, at 1 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Bro. David McMullen officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Woodyard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Burns Funeral Home of Perry. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
