Myrna Faye Freeman

Myrna Faye Freeman, 79, died Oct. 23, 2018, in Tallahassee. Myrna was born March 26, 1939, in Wakulla to Robert Lee Gray and Bessie Jo Carlton Gray.

Myrna was of the Baptist faith and worked with Henry Dorsett Insurance Co. as a bookkeeper for over 10 years. Myrna loved the outdoors, the ocean and her family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Robert Lee Gray and Bessie Jo Carlton Gray; her sister, Diane Gray McGuire; and her grandson, Thomas Alvarez.

Myrna is survived by: her husband of 60 years, Jerome Freeman; her daughter, Marti Freeman and her son, Jon Freeman all of Perr; two sisters, Mickie Mixon and Karen Silvea; and three brothers, Bobby, Carlton and Doyle Gray; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; as a well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Bro. Jeremy Gray officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Carlton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, at Burns Funeral Home of Perry. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
