Ladonna Walker

Ladonna Walker, 50, of Ocala, died Sunday, Oct 28, 2018, at her home with her family by her side. Ladonna was born in Perry, and was a teacher for the Marion County public school system and child advocate for the Guardian ad Litem Program. Ladonna enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed traveling the world.

Ladonna was predeceased by: her mothe,r Diane ( English) Hiers.

She is survived by: her devoted husband of 16 years, John Walker of Ocala; her son, Cory (Chelsie) Taylor of Perry; her sister, Lindy (John) Hornbuckle of Auburn, Ala.; her father, James Hiers and wife, Joyce, of Perry; and numerous aunts and uncle; as well as a host of cousins.

The family will hold a memorial service at the Hiers Baxley Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 12 p.m. All are welcome to attend. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until services. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Fifth Circuit GAL Foundation, 34 NW 1^st Ave, Ocala, FL 34470 in memory of Ladonna.
