Patricia E. Matthews, 70, died Oct. 29, 2018, in Perry. Patsy was born July 31, 1948, in Ft. Pierce to James Wallace Blue and Jeanette Blue Edwards Ellison.

Patsy was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. When she was able to go, she enjoyed fishing with her husband Harold. Patsy loved her family, she doted on her boys and cherished her grandchildren. Nana was the best cook.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, James Wallace Blue and Jeanette Blue Ellison; and her brothers, Bobby Blue and Randy Blue.

She is survived by: her husband of 30 years, Harold Lee Matthews; her sons, James D. Lollis, and Richard M (Jean) Lollis; her brother, Johnny Blue; her sisters, Pam Neal and Debbie Howard; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at 4 p.m. at Pisgah Cemetery with Bro. Tim McDonald officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
