Downtown detour for RR repairs will begin Dec. 10

Downtown workers, visitors and other motorists should beaware that a section of Jefferson Street downtown will be closed next week(Dec. 10-15) to replace the railroad crossing near Rosehead Park.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), inconjunction with Georgia & Florida Railroad, will replace and realign tworailroad crossing surfaces during December at an estimated cost of $830,000.
