For the past several years, Rick Moore has been a staple of summer, manning a produce stand at the corner of Highway 19 and U.S. 98. His main offering has been watermelons and many simply called him “Watermelon Man.”
However, Tuesday night Moore added a new title to his name—“Most Wanted.”
Wearing a bright orange t-shirt with the words “Most Wanted Watermelon Man” emblazoned across his chest, Moore appeared before the Perry City Council to contest a local ordinance that could send him packing from his favorite corner.
