Top Stories of 2018: Notable deaths, murders and ongoing cases

A number of notable deaths and a handful of murder cases made headlines this past year – some occurring during 2018 and others continuing to make their way through the legal system.

• In January, the Perry Police Department (PPD) released the identity of the 27-year-old Perry man whose body was found in the 500 block of South Wilder Street, adding that detectives had several “persons of interest.”
