Peterson’s Landing closes Jan. 9

Peterson’s Landing, one of Taylor County’s public boat-launching points on the Fenholloway River, will be closed for a year or more beginning Jan. 9, as Georgia-Pacific’s Foley Mill begins work on its long-awaited new effluent pipeline as part of the larger Fenholloway Water Quality Project.

Peterson’s Landing on the Fenholloway River, located at the end of CR 356 (Hampton Springs Road), is scheduled to be temporarily closed to the public due to pipeline construction for at least one year.
