Pittman indicted on second-degree murder charge

A grand jury indicted Kayla Anne Pittman, 25, on a charge of second-degree murder while armed Thursday afternoon for the Dec. 9 shooting death of Shawnie Easlick, also 25.

The State Attorney’s Office convened the grand jury Thursday morning, with proceedings beginning at 9 a.m. Jurors returned the indictment shortly before 3 p.m.
