Blue Wolf donates $1 million from Suwannee Lumber sale to Dixie County community

The former owners of Suwannee Lumber Company have launched a five-year, $1 million community development endeavor by donating $50,000 checks to four Dixie County charities.

In an effort spearheaded by former Suwannee Lumber CEO and Chairman Frank “Bump” Faircloth of Perry, Blue Wolf Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, announced this week that its portfolio company, BW SLC Holdings, LLC, will donate $1 million from the proceeds generated by last year’s sale of Suwannee Lumber Company, LLC to Conifex Timber, Inc.
