Taylor next to last in attendance

Taylor County continues to rank as one of the worst districts in the state in terms of student attendance, coming in next to last out of 67 Florida counties according to the most recent data.

According to figures released by the Florida Department of Education (DOE), the local school district ranked 66th out of 67 counties with a 90% attendance rate during the 2017-18 school year.
