Taylor County School District officials are celebrating the recently-released graduation rate results for 2017-18, which showed a significant jump district-wide to 87.7% — exceeding the state average of 86.1%.
The local public school district’s rate was buoyed by a 95.5% graduation rate at Taylor County High School (TCHS) — a 15.5 percentage-point jump from the school’s 80% graduation in 2016-17.
