Charles Edward Buchanan, 50, died, Jan. 12, 2019, in Texas.
Graveside services will be Monday, Jan. 21, at 2 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery, Perry. Visitation will be from 12–1:30 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, Perry.
He was born in Bartow, and had lived in Naples, Perry and presently in Tallahassee. He was a long- haul truck driver for Blachowske Trucking. He graduated from Taylor County High School. He served six years in the US Army, served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and was actually deployed to the Middle East.
He is survived by his mother: Annie Mae Buchanan of Steinhatchee; two sons, Nathan Daniel Buchanan of Shady Grove and Jessie James Buchanan of Tallahassee; two sisters, Cecelia Buchanan Yoder of Zephyrhills, and Sandra Kaye Murr of Steinhatchee; and three grandchildren: Audra Lee, Harley Jade, and Hunter Morgan Buchanan.
He was predeceased by: his father, James Henry Buchanan, his grandparents, Jessie and Lura Pert and Ford Buchanan, Edna Hines; and his ister, Letitia Riner.
