Straighten Deadman’s Curve?

Deadman’s Curve on Beach Road is an infamous Taylor County landmark, the site of many automobile crashes over the years resulting in a number of deaths, most recently in October.

However, the sharp 90-degree turn, which has existed for decades, could one day be a thing of the past.
