After learning one of the two boilers at Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) has been down since last month, the Taylor County Commission allocated about $50,000 in emergency funds this week to repair the equipment.
The issue of the boiler was raised during the commission’s Tuesday morning meeting, when Commissioner Jim Moody brought it up as an informational item.
