Green St. sidewalk bids both well over budget

Work could begin soon on the construction of a sidewalk along Green Street, connecting downtown with Taylor County Elementary School (TCES) and the new Perry Primary School (PPS) scheduled to house students in the upcoming school year.

That is if the Taylor County Commission and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) can either secure additional funding or find a way to cut the project’s cost.
