Perry council votes to rejoin League of Cities

When the Perry City Council voted to join the Florida League of Cities, it received an immediate return on its $894 investment – the offer of two, $1,000 scholarships for two council members to attend the organization’s upcoming state conference.

“First and foremost, we are advocates for cities in the state capital and Congress. We are the united voice for cities,” Sharon Berrian, Florida League of Cities member relations, said during a recent presentation to the council.
