DMH back open after water leak

Complications arising from a scheduled repair of the main water line serving Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) caused the local facility to temporarily shut down and transfer or divert patients for just over 24 hours on Friday and Saturday.

After closing the hospital doors at around 6 p.m. Friday, DMH staff completed repairs around noon on Saturday and resumed normal hospital operations for patient care, management and admissions Saturday evening at approximately 8:30 p.m.
