Charles Ray Sadler

Charles Ray Sadler, 59, died Feb. 1, 2019, in Gainesville. Charles was born July 7, 1959, in Perry to Jesse Willard Sadler Sr. and Mildred Clara Sadler.

Charles was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Charles worked with the Perry Newspapers as a columnist for eight years.

Charles was preceded in death by: his parents, Jesse Willard Sadler Sr. and Mildred Clara Sadler; his two brothers, Willard and Buddy Sadler; and his two sisters, Norma Jean Stone and Janie Bowden.

Charles is survived by: two sisters, Cheryl and her husband, Glenn Nix, and Lex Ann and her husband, Robert Patterson, all of Perry; as a well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
