Close call for Winter Haven couple

A Winter Haven couple had a close call Tuesday morning, Feb. 5, when they crashed into the tree-line along U.S. 19.

Roy Chilcote, 69, was taken to Doctors’ Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries; his passenger, Diana Chilcote, 59, was not injured in the crash.
