Driver crashes into church, comes forward two days later

The driver who crashed into the fellowship hall at Ash Street Church of God Tuesday evening, damaging the door and outer brick wall, came forward Thursday afternoon and agreed to cover the cost of all repairs — asking to remain anonymous.

The “confession” followed a media post made by the church Wednesday offering a $100 reward for information regarding the incident.
