Patricia Lee Schmidt

Patricia Lee Schmidt, 75, passed away Feb. 9, 2019, surrounded by family after a brief illness. She was born on Aug. 16, 1943, in Patterson, N.J., to Joseph and Kathleen Brownlee.

Pat loved people. She was a waitress most of her life and worked at several restaurants. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, being around family and friends, and especially enjoyed the company of her cats and dogs.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Chris, her parents Joseph and Kathleen, and her brother Jack.

Pat is survived by her children Mary Brownlee of California, Joseph (Jean) Brownlee of Perry, Fla., Patty (Artie) Kellar of Milton, Fla., Eric Effenberger of Live Oak, Fla., LouAnn Stephens of Perry, Mike (Amy) Schmidt of Arkansas, Kelly (Jimmy) Walker of Fort Peirce, Fla., Brenda Schmidt of Perry, Fla., special friend Donnie Davis of Perry, Fla., 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Updated: A celebration of Pat’s Life will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, from 1 to 5 p.m. at her son Joseph (Jean) Brownlee’s 2445 Andrew Morgan Drive, Perry, Fla.
