New school construction cost savings help fund more parking

School officials manage to continue to find cost savings during construction of the new Perry Primary School, Facilities Director Dan Anderson told school board members recently.

During an update on the project at a Feb. 5 workshop, Anderson reported that the most recent round of savings will allow for additional paving that will widen the main access road and provide 130 parking spaces not included in the original construction plans.
