A wailing grandmother, a determined judge and a skittish juror took center stage as opening statements began Tuesday morning during the first-degree murder trial of Henry Bolden Jr.
Prior to calling the 12-member jury (and two alternates) into court, Judge Greg Parker cautioned family members and friends of the victim and defendant in attendance to control their emotions during the upcoming testimony and evidence presentations.
