PPD K-9, handler transfer to TCSO

Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Former Perry Police Department K-9 “Bak” is now on patrol with his handler Kyle Johnson, earning his stripes as a sheriff’s deputy.

The Perry City Council approved the transfer of the K-9 to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office when Johnson himself made the switch last month.
