Last chance to register for GOP primary

If you want to vote in the April 9 special primary election to fill the currently vacant Florida House District 7 seat, you have until Monday to either register to vote or change your party registration.

Voter registration books for the primary election close March 11, which is the first of two elections set for 2019 to fill the vacancy created when former State Representative Halsey Beshears was appointed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to serve as the new secretary of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).
