Commission ‘disapproves’ Gulf Coast’s tax exemption

The Taylor County Commission has denied an application for a tax exemption from Gulf Coast Plumbing and Electrical Supply, Inc., deeming it did not qualify under the county’s ordinance.

According to Gulf Coast Vice President Russ Knight, in June 2017 the company completed construction of a new 4,800 square-foot facility located on approximately 10 acres in the City of Perry.
