Final decision on Super-Pufft tax exemption set for April 1

The Taylor County Commission is moving forward with a tax incentive for Super-Pufft Snacks USA, LLC, which would save the company an estimated $698,000 in taxes over the next 10 years.

During a special meeting on Feb. 7, the commission approved in principal a 75% tax exemption for 10 years to help secure a $20 million expansion to Super-Pufft’s Perry plant that could add 100 jobs to its existing 76-person work force.
