Learn to bottle-feed kittens this March 17

    Posted on March 15, 2019

As the weather begins to warm, the dreaded “kitten season” draws closer.

Taylor County will be once again overrun with a huge influx of new stray kittens and puppies born during the warm summer months.

As part of their “never-ending endeavor to save all the kitties,” It’s Meow or Never for Ferals and Forest Capital Humane Society will host a bottle feeding workshop this Sunday, March 17, from 1-4 p.m.

The workshop will be held at the Taylor County Horseman’s Arena on Bishop Blvd. in Perry.

The workshop is open to the public, but seating is limited.

So, if you plan to attend, contact Gail Hartman at (850) 838-9293 or Jo Ann Parker at (850) 843-2442 to reserve your seat.

And, as always, remember to spay and neuter your pets as “kitten season” approaches.

“We always dread ‘kitten season’ because we know, no matter how hard we try, we won’t be able to save them all…we won’t even come close!” Hearts for Hometown Dogs staff said. “There are way too many in our community.”
