Truth stranger than fiction? Perry man says he ‘vanished’ to protect his family

Local and federal law enforcement officers descended on the Perry Golf & Country Club (PGCC) last Wednesday afternoon to serve a federal arrest warrant issued for a local club member just as he was preparing to tee off during a mid-week scramble.

At approximately 2:15 p.m. on March 20, the two dozen or so golfers at the PGCC course were stunned to see a fellow club member they have known for years as “Greg Enfield” handcuffed and escorted off the property via a caravan of local and unmarked law enforcement vehicles.
