R/R crossing still closed

The railroad crossing — which has been closed for nearly one week — on Center Street remains closed to through traffic and local officials have been unable to get feedback from the railroad as to when the road will re-open.

“The city is working with state officials to resolve the issue and has not received any cooperation with railroad officials,” city officials said Tuesday.
