Donna Kay Steele

Donna Kay Steele, 59, passed away on March 25, 2019 in Tallhassee, Fla. Donna was born June 1, 1959, in Dothan, Ala., to James H. “Pete” Steele and Peggy McClenny Steele.

Donna always enjoyed being with her grandchildren and other family members.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents James H. and Peggy Steele and her twin sister Wanda Steele.

She is survived by her lifelong companion Jeff Benton, daughter Shelynn Fitzgerald and her husband Oran, her son Jeffery Benton, grandchildren: Chloe, Harley, Emily, Dylan, Adalynn, Dristen, Chase, and Saydie, sister Linda Mugglin, nephew Jonathan Catchman and his wife Delvis and their daughter Sophia, stepsisters Patience, and Bonita Johnson, stepbrothers Billy Joe, and Boyd Adkins as well as a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.

A celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the home of her daughter, located at 6430 Beach Rd., with Rev. Dennis Nobles officiating.
