Perry ground zero for meteor strike?

Falling star (or planet)? A military drill or terrorist attack? A helicopter search spotlight? Peeping tom? Aliens or UFOs? End time rapture?

A large number of local residents still awake just prior to midnight Saturday, March 30, were startled enough to consider all of the possibilities above after seeing five seconds of blinding blue-green light and a sudden loud roar and sonic booms caused by a meteor streaking across the sky.
