Grand jury: No charges in Strickland shooting

After hearing evidence from the State Attorney’s Office and testimony from an undisclosed number of witnesses, a local grand jury has declined to bring charges in the Jan. 20 shooting death of 34-year-old Christopher “Chris” Strickland.

While details of the information presented during Tuesday’s grand jury proceedings are protected and shielded from public record by Florida Statutes, law enforcement reports and subsequent investigation reports were not sealed.
