INVITATION TO BID
Housing Rehabilitation
State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program (SHIP) and
Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG)
Taylor County Board of County Commissioners invites interested residential contractors to submit bids for the rehabilitation of one (1) and the replacement of three (3) homes for the SHIP program, and the replacement of three (3) homes in the CDBG program.
SEALED Bids (Please submit one original and two copies) are to be submitted on or before May 3, 2019 at 4:00 PM to Annie Mae Murphy, Clerk of the Court (850) 838-3506. Bid envelopes are to be identified as SHIP 2019 ITB-001.

A Public Opening of the Bids is scheduled for May 6, 2019 at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, at 201 East Green Street, Perry, Florida, 32347. Bids will be opened during a regularly scheduled Board of County Commissioners meeting.
A MANDATORY meeting to provide contractor orientation materials and visit the scheduled projects will be held on April 11, 2019 at 10:30 am, located at 511 Industrial Park Drive, Perry, FL 32348. The meeting will take place in the airport terminal conference room. You must attend this meeting to receive the bid documents and attend the review of the projects. The visit to the projects will immediately follow the orientation meeting.
For contractors that have not been pre-approved, you may obtain a contractor application package by calling Government Services Group, Inc. at (352) 381-1975. Please bring your completed application package to the mandatory meeting on April 11, 2019.

INVITATION TO BID
The Taylor County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting sealed proposals for construction
of the CR 356 (Green Street) Sidewalk (LAP) Project. FDOT Pre-qualified contractors in “Sidewalk” construction, desiring to provide the required services, must submit five (5) packages in a sealed envelope or similar package marked “Sealed Proposal for CR 356 (Green Street) Sidewalk (LAP) Project” to the Clerk of Court, 1st Floor Courthouse, 108 North Jefferson Street, Suite 102, Perry, Florida 32347, to arrive no later than 4:00 P.M., local time, onMay 3, 2019. All Proposals MUST have the respondent’s name and mailing address clearly shown on the outside of the envelope or package when submitted. Proposals will be opened and respondents announced at 6:05 P.M. local time, or as soon thereafter as practical, on May 6, 2019, in the Taylor County Administrative Complex, 201 East Green Street, Perry, Florida 32347.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at the Administrative Complex located at 201 East Green Street, Perry, Florida 32347.  The County reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to reject any or all Bids, to cancel or withdraw this solicitation at any time and waive any irregularities in the Bid process. The County, in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to waive any minor defects in the process and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. No faxed Proposals will be accepted.
