Annual Children’s Fun Festival slated April 13

On Saturday, April 13, the community is invited to the annual Children’s Fun Festival at City Park from 10 a.m. to noon.

“This event has been a symbol of the commitment of early childhood services providers in Taylor County for nearly two decades, and has been expanded to include the Pinwheels for Prevention campaign in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month,” said Healthy Start Coalition Director Donna Hagan.

In tandem with fun activities for children, parents are afforded the opportunity for education on community resources and given information that supports the theme of early childhood development.
