Anderson promoted

Kristy Anderson, a 13-year veteran with the county and five-year veteran of emergency management, has been promoted from deputy director to director of the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Department of Emergency Management.

She assumes the position following the recent retirement of TCSO Chief Deputy Chuck Mincy, who also served as emergency management director.
