Chemring’s military arm is purchased for $4 million

One of the largest defense contractors in the Tampa Bay area, Global Ordnance, LLC, has completed an acquisition of Chemring Military Products – a subsidiary of Chemring Group, PLC the parent company that also owns Chemring Ordnance in Perry.

While Chemring Military Products (CMP) is listed as being “Perry-based” because it shared a local address with fellow Chemring Group subsidiary, Chemring Ordnance, the acquisition will actually have “no impact on the facility here in Perry,” according to Chemring Ordnance President Kevin McDonald.
