Mock wins Red/Trout Slam at fishing tourney

Arthur Wilson of Perry weighed in a 6.26 lb. trout worth $500, and TJ Edwards of Perry brought a 7.24 lb. redfish to the scales to win $500 in the annual Special Olympics Inshore Fishing Tournament held Saturday, April 13 at Keaton Beach.

However, the biggest winner of the day was Ashley Mock of Perry, who weighed in the second-best trout – a 26-1/4-inch fish weighing 5.56 lbs. – to go along with a 6.58 lb. redfish that won the Red/Trout Slam category worth a whopping $1,000.
