Garbage pick-up in coastal areas nears

While residents in the City of Perry have their garbage picked up curbside, most of those who live in the unincorporated areas of Taylor County must haul their trash to various roll-off sites.

However, residents in several coastal areas will soon have the option of hiring a new local business to haul their garbage for them, after the Taylor County Commission authorized Thomas Earl Padgett to move forward with offering the service two weeks ago.
