Woman, 90, killed by falling tree

As a pastor’s wife, Iler Merle Williams – known affectionately to many as “Granny Williams” – moved several times throughout her marriage with each new church calling received by her husband, Marlin.

One such call brought the family to Perry, where Marlin served as the pastor of Athena Baptist Church.
