Billy Green

Billy Green, 87, of Wauchula, died at his home April 9, 2019.  He was born May 13, 1931 in Perry and lived in Wauchula since 1967. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Wauchula, served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea and was a field supervisor with Cargill.

 Billy was preceded in death by: his brothers, Jimmy and Ted Green, and sisters, Marcell Komainars and Betty Crisp. 

Survivors include: his wife of 65 years, Frankie Green of Wauchula; three sons, Billy F. Green (Debbie) of Palm Harbor, David Terrance Green (Jeanette) of Zolfo Springs, Daniel Raymond Green (Robin) of Wauchula; daughters, Ada Louise Blowers (Daniel) of Wauchula, Helen Lorene Smith (Tim) of Fort Myers; brother, Clarence Green (Arlene) of Daytona; sister, Kathryn Becker of Ormand Beach; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday, April 13, at 11 a.m. at Robarts Garden Chapel with Mr. Tom Hartman officiating.  Visitation was held one hour prior to service time.  Burial with Military Honors was held at Wauchula Cemetery.
