Hwy. 19 power pole replacement

Duke Energy is currently replacing power poles for one of its transmission lines that runs parallel with U.S. Highway 19 North.

“Since the trucks we use for that work are bigger and heavier than normal bucket trucks, we are putting down matting to try to keep from making a big mess when working off-road,” Community Relations Specialist Danny Collins said.
